In
exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 8-A of the
Karnataka Sales Tax Act, 1957 (Karnataka Act 25 of 1957), the Government of
Karnataka hereby exempts with immediate effect and upto thirty-first day of
March, 2014, the tax and cess payable under Section 25B by a manufacture of
Sugar (including Khandasari Sugar).
